Our Beliefs

We believe in...

God's Written Word

The Holy Scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy; and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. (2 Tim. 3:14-17; 2 Pet. 1:20,21)

God

One God, the Creator and sustainer of all things, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Rev. 4:11; Heb. 1:3; Deut. 6:4; Dan. 4:34-35; Matt. 28:19)

Jesus Christ

Our Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, His virgin birth, His sinless human life, His divine miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His mediatorial work, and His Personal return in power and glory. (John 1:1-3,14; Isa. 7:14; Heb. 7:25; John 10:30; Heb. 9:27,28; Phil. 2:5-11)

Salvation

The salvation of lost and sinful man through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith apart from works, and through regeneration by the Holy Spirit. (Isa. 53:5,6; 1 Pet. 2:24, 3:18; Tit. 3:5)

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a holy life, to witness, and work for the Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 1:8; 4:31; Rom. 8:13)

The Church

The unity of all true believers in the Body of Christ, visibly manifest in the Church and made up of all people who have been regenerated by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Eph. 4:3, 4; 1 Cor. 12:13)

The Future

The resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved to the resurrection of life, the lost to condemnation. (1 Thess. 4:16,17; John 5:28,29; 2 Thess. 1:5-10)

Marriage

Marriage, the uniting of one biological man and one biological woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman in such a marital relationship. Any other form of sexual behavior is sinful and offensive to God. (Gen. 2:18-25; Matt. 19:4-6; 1 Cor. 7:2-5; Heb. 13:4; 1 Cor. 6:9-10; Rom. 1:24-27)
